Arvalem waterfalls is located at Sanquelim, Goa and it’s a hidden gem in Goa .This waterfall is an unexplored place in Goa . The height of the waterfall is around 50 meters and a nice place to spend half a day with family and friends because of no crowd or very less crowded place.

One of the famous movie song ” Hum Bane Tum Bane” from Ek Duuje Ke Liye was shoot in this Arvalem water falls.
The surrounding of the waterfalls is fascinating and its situated behind Rudreshwar temple. This temple is famous for lord Shiva and we need to take few steps down to reach the place .
It’s also called as Harvalem waterfall in Goa. A small park available on top of the hills, its well maintained with seating arrangement to view the waterfall and cherish the gushing flow of the waterfall. Its a beautiful picnic spot.
Best time to visit Arvalem waterfalls in Goa – During Monsoon we can experience the full flow of the water fall and looks majestic with the rustic surroundings, right after monsoon is also a good time to visit this place .
When i visited with my family during October month also and the level of the water on the ground was less. Hence we spent more time playing in water area and the water fall was really amazing during October month also.
How to reach Arvalem waterfall:
Buses from Panjim or Mapusa (Bicholim) to Arvalem by reashing Sanquelim village . Need to take an auto or cab from Sanquelim village to Arvalem water fall.
Its about 2Kms from Sanquelim village and 9 kms from Bicholim.

– Mayem Lake, Goa – Its located 20 kms from Mapusa.
– Pandava Caves ( Arvalem caves ) – Its a 6th century rock cut caves and also called as pandava caves.
