About our Trip to Mallalli falls in Coorg :
Early on Saturday morning around 6AM we started from Bangalore and reached Sowmarpet around 12PM . On a monsoon day there was absolutely no rain and we were little disappointed because all of us were well prepared with rain jackets , poncho and waterproof bags.
The moment we started to walk it started to rain and a whole lot of joy added to our 3 Kms walk inside the forest. Half of the distance had cement road (fortunately no leeches ) and rest half of the distance, it’s a muddy road to climb and it’s a bit steep. The walk was a bit difficult while raining, however, it was fun to walk in the rain with friends around.
We reached the check post and started to hear the gushing noise of Mallalli falls and all of us were excited and started to walk further .
Yes , finally we reached the spot and found the magnificent waterfalls, it’s a huge waterfall surrounded by hills and mist . No crowd around and gave a heavenly feel when we stood on top of the hills.

Then we started to climb down 500 plus steps (better to carry hiking poles). Descending was a bit easy, even though its steep, however climbing up in the steps is super difficult. At every bend of the hills the view was amazing and one of the best place visit during Monsoon to experience the true beauty of this waterfall.

We reached the base of the falls and the view from few ahead is breathtaking and we had a wonderful time . It was drizzling , foggy , cloudy and enjoyed the typical coorg climate during monsoon .
From 12PM to 6PM it was raining continuously and had a wonderful experience during this monsoon.

The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
